Yoloway One-Year Warranty and Replacement Policy and Responsibilities

All Yoloway bikes are covered by the one-year manufacturer's warranty against all manufacturing defects.

1. Warranty period and target group conditions

The guarantee is automatically registered when the first buyer orders the bike in our online shop. It applies to the FIRST BUYER and begins when the bike is handed over to the first owner.

When transferring the guarantee, the transferee of the e-bike can only claim the guarantee if both of the following conditions are met at the same time:

1. The 1-year package has not expired since it was received by the original owner.
2. The transferee has the name of the first owner and the original order number.

 

2. Expiry of the guarantee

All Yoloway bikes are guaranteed against defects in materials and/or workmanship for one year from the date of receipt (excluding free accessories).

Yoloway will replace any component that is defective or damaged due to faulty materials and/or workmanship (including damage during shipping).

Yoloway reserves the sole discretion to determine whether any damage or defect to an Electric Bicycle or covered component is covered by this Limited Warranty.


3. Warranty claims

If you believe your Yoloway bike has a warranty issue, please contact the official website or online retailer where you purchased it. Proof of purchase and photos or videos of the damaged product are required for any warranty claim. We recommend that you contact us at support@Yolowaybike.com before making a warranty claim.

Yoloway will not ship any parts to the customer without reviewing the photos or videos of the damaged product provided by the customer.

4. Complaints about shipping damage

In rare cases, products may be damaged during transit. If this happens, please contact support@Yolowaybike.com and provide photos or videos of the damage.

Free accessories are not eligible for replacement or compensation for scratches caused during transport.

NOTE: We only accept claims for transport damage within seven (7) days of receipt of the electric bike.


5. Articles covered

Frame

Yoloway e-bike frames are warranted for one year from the original purchase date. Defective frames can be replaced under the limited warranty, but labor costs to replace the frame are not covered.

Yoloway reserves the right to use scratches and dents for frame replacement. Frame issues not covered by this warranty include, but are not limited to:
- Corrosion
- Color fading, scratches, impact marks
- Damage caused by impact
- Irreversible modifications (drilling/welding)
- Chain guard attachment to frame, if applicable


6. Batteries

Yoloway batteries are covered by a 1-year limited warranty. During this period, defective batteries will be repaired or replaced free of charge. The warranty period for repaired or replaced batteries will remain unchanged, based on the original purchase date. No cash refund will be given.
The evaluation of the defective battery is at the sole discretion of Yoloway.

This limited warranty excludes:
- Defects or damage caused by accident, misuse, improper use, improper storage, contact with liquids, neglect or abnormal physical, electrical or electromechanical stress.
- Scratches, dents and cosmetic damage not caused by Yoloway.
- Removing, defaced or altering serial numbers or bar codes.
- Use of accessories, products or additional equipment not supplied or approved by Yoloway.
- Defects or damage caused by improper assembly, operation, maintenance, repair or adjustment.
- External causes such as collision, fire, flood, lightning, earthquake, weather conditions, theft or improper use of electricity.

7. Parts and components

Yoloway genuine parts and components are covered by a 1-year limited warranty. Damaged parts caused by the customer are not covered.

The owner of the bicycle is responsible for shipping costs for replacement parts under warranty.

This limited warranty excludes:
- Damage caused by normal wear and tear.
- Corrosion of electrical components.
- Damage or impairment of the surface finish, appearance or beauty of the product.
- Labor costs for replacing parts.
- Defects or damage resulting from accident, misuse, improper storage, contact with liquids, neglect or abnormal physical, electrical or electromechanical stress.
- Removing, defaced or altering serial numbers or bar codes.
- Use of accessories, products or additional equipment not supplied or approved by Yoloway.


8. Limitation of liability

By participating, you agree to release Yoloway and its affiliates from any liability arising from participation in the campaign or use of the product.


9. Litigation

Disputes will be resolved individually in the courts of California under California law.
